Jess's Review ~ Dirty Player by Gwyn McNamee

Dirty Player (Cocky Hero Club)
My rating: 3.5 of 5 stars

Bash Fury has an anger issue, one that has gotten him into more hot water than he even knows what to do with. His latest incident has him traded to another team. A team with the very first woman coach who is not looking forward to Bash's arrival.

Greer has zero-tolerance for arrogance, lateness, and Bash's attitude. She has a lot to prove to everyone being the only woman head coach and Bash is making her job all that much harder. I liked Greer, she was no BS, but all women. I did not like Bash for quite some time. I didn't like any of the words that came out of his mouth, but some of the things in his head made me keep going.

I am glad kept going because once Bash warms up, he is quite entertaining. I like reading about characters who have to sneak around, there is something about the danger of getting caught that I really enjoy. Or maybe it's the naughtiness of it. There were some pieces of the story that didn't seem to fit for me, but I liked how it all got worked out.
