Jess's Review ~ The Soldier by S.R. Jones

The Soldier (Bratva Blood, #0.5)
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was just enough to get you excited for what is to come.

While short, this packed a punch. It tells the story of how Konstantin became who he is today. King K, leader, ruler, deadly businessman, take your pick. Life was not kind to him and he became what he is to today with blood, sweat, and endurance. We find him in the UK, doing somewhat legitimate business when pieces to his past come to light.

We also meet Cassie, she is the sunshine on a cloudy day. Except, deep down, she is not who she wants to be. She longs for adventure and danger. The chance to be a wild and free call to her, but she has never taken that change. How she falls into this story might change all that though and Konstantin might be the reason for it.

This was more about Konstantin's past and really has me looking forward to more. He is damaged and dangerous and about to make a move that will likely go really badly.
