Jess's Review ~ His by Natasha Knight & A Zavarelli

His (Ties That Bind, #2) My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was the perfect conclusion to this duet. I felt like this one was more of an adrenaline ride than the first. I felt like I was holding my breath more and I even told the book "that's a bad decision."
All of my questions got answered and I just really liked how it all turned out. Learning where Kat came from was an interesting twist and how that plays out is a big part of this book. I just like all fo the parts. Kat is no push-over and she takes her circumstances by the horns and runs with it. She puts her faith into Lev and prays for the best.
Lev is just as fierce and protective as ever. He has made a very messy bed that he needs to lie in it. He is quick on his feet and deadly. He doesn't make unnecessary excuses, owns who he is and goes in guns a-blazing.
I really enjoyed the heat and danger this book had. I didn't want to be interrupted while I was consuming it and it just held my attention from beginning to end. This was a great writing duo and I hope they create another book child together.
