Shy's Review ~ East End by Nana Malone

East End (Hear No Evil Trilogy, #1)East End by Nana Malone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I started the story thinking that I was just going to get a couple of chapters in and then go about my day. And then the next thing I knew half my day was gone and so was half the book. But I couldn't put it down. I couldn't stop reading. I had to find out what was going to come next for East and the London Lords. I had to see how things would progress with East and Nyla. And everything was just so intense and just kept flowing so perfectly that it made it impossible to put the book down. And then the next thing I knew it was dark outside and my mouth was hanging open in shock and the book was over but I needed more. I'm completely and thoroughly impressed by what I just read. Nana Malone has such a way with words. She has officially become my favorite romantic suspense type author. Because I don't really know what else I would call this book and those that have come before it with the Winston Isles crew. There is always some big mystery or problem that needs to be solved with them. And then they have to steal something or set someone up or something just totally suspenseful that I get completely hooked on. I love that the women are always tough in their own right. Some of them are trained fighters, some of them fight to defend those they love even if they don't have any previous training. It's definitely one of my favorite things about her books is that there are always strong women to respect in the book. And quite often strong women of color which I really appreciate seeing more often today. Overall this was a book that I couldn't help but completely devour and now I am once again going to have to wait for my next fix. And even though I hate the wait I know that it will be worth it.
