Shy's Review ~ Rise: The Interlude by L.A. Cotton

Rise: The Interlude (Black Hearts Still Beat, #2)Rise: The Interlude by L.A. Cotton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

description
This book was very high on the angst. It was filled with so many emotions from basically every character involved. I liked that it picked right up where book one left off. I felt like I easily slid back into the groove. And once I started I didn't want to stop. I couldn't. The swipes of my kindle were fast and furious. I needed to know what was coming. And as I hurtled though the pages and everything started building up and falling apart hearts started breaking. Both the characters and this readers. It was like the more I learned about these characters the more I connected with them. And so of course I felt for them when they were hurting.

Before I knew it, the story was over. But there was so much still left to be resolved. Where does that ending leave Rafe, Eva and Levi, not to mention the rest of the band. I need book three immediately and I definitely highly recommend Rise.
