Shy's Review ~ Stealing Home by Carrie Aarons

Stealing Home (Callahan Family, #2)Stealing Home by Carrie Aarons
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

description
I was eagerly awaiting this book after reading book one in the series. I'm happy to see that it didn't disappoint.

This story centered around a very sensitive topic but it was handled so so well. Seeing things from the POV of both main characters, Hannah especially, really made this story for me.

Getting inside her head and seeing things through her eyes helped connect me to her. I already sympathized with her situation. Even if I could only imagine and have only read about or watched that particular trauma. But seeing her thoughts and seeing how she grew and developed over the course of the story really made this a deep and emotional read. And also helped when it came to the progression of her relationship with Walker.

He, on the other hand, was an instant winner for me. Walker was just so kind and patient and even in his dark moments I just saw the goodness in him.

This was overall another good story from Carrie Aarons and I look forward to more from her.
