Shy's Review ~ Hard to Score by K. Bromberg

Hard to ScoreHard to Score by K. Bromberg
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hard to Score is an excellent contemporary romance. It had football, sports agents, family secrets, and romance that's part friends to lovers and part second chance romance.

Drew and Brexton knew each other as kids. Their families vacationed together and were extremely close. But then a scandal happened and their families parted ways. Years later they have a chance run in and old sparks are rekindled. Their attraction is too hard to ignore, but so are the secrets that separated their families. The journey as they built their relationship and dealt with those secrets was so well written. In true K. Bromberg fashion, she draws the reader in with characters you connect with and truly like, and emotions that feel authentic. I was really rooting for these two and was anxious to know the truth right along with them. When everything was exposed my heart broke for them and I couldn't read fast enough to see how they would work everything out.

I really enjoyed this story and now am excited to go back and read the first two in the series. I might have started out of order but I didn't feel like I was missing anything or that this story didn't flow well without having read those first. I highly recommend this one though.
