The Perfect Fit was a quick, sweet, yet steamy romance. It was largely centered around the younger man/older woman romance trope as well as single parent. The age difference wasn't a large one, but in terms of life experiences the difference was clear.
I think if I had to pick which of the leading characters I was more drawn to I'd have to choose Eli. He might have been younger but he was clearly responsible and a genuinely good guy. And while I understood the leading lady Ruby's hesitation, it was hard not to shake some sense into her at times.
This story also had great secondary characters. Eli's dad in particular was a favorite. I didn't as easily connect with Ruby's sisters but they didn't ruin the story for me either.
Overall I thought this was a good read and I would definitely be interested in reading more by this author in the future.
