I don't know what it is that sets a book apart from the rest. I can't really tell you what gives it that little extra that makes it something truly special, but I do know that whatever it is, Racer had it. Much the same as with Evans' Real Series, Racer far exceeded my expectations and left me with a serious book hangover.
Racer Tate is his father's son. He is so much like Remy without being too much like him. Even with the similarities that put a ridiculous grin on my face, he is his own person and boy, was I smitten. He had me swooning almost immediately and tearing up before I was even twenty percent in.
Lana Heyworth captured my attention immediately. Her loyalty, drive, and passion was both endearing and intriguing. I wanted these two together and couldn't get enough of their story.
We are treated to a fast-paced, emotional, and exciting storyline that had my blood pumping and my heart racing. I was glad I was alone while reading because I couldn't hold in all the contented sighs. Racer stole my heart and took it for a ride I didn't want to end.
