The Third Best Thing (Fulton U, #3)The Third Best Thing by Maya Hughes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

-Sara, 4 stars

Jules comes from a wealthy family and since her father passed away many years ago she became the black sheep of her family. She lives in a run down apartment off campus. She loves to bake, it has become her outlet, and she doesn’t consider herself one of the “pretty girls”.

Berk is a football hero waiting to start his pro career. He has always worked hard for what he has. He came from a tough life, being abandoned by his parents and living in foster care. Football is his escape and his ticket out of here but there are things missing.

Jules has a serious crush on Berk and after a night of drinking she decides to write him a letter of how she really feelings, of course leaving it unnamed. Berk finds the letter and reads it while Jules is hiding... She is totally embarrassed and sneaks home only to notice he has written back.....

Their letter game plays on for sometime still remaining anonymous. Berk loves going over to Jules to watch her bake and of course enjoy her treats. Once they have a run in with Jule's sister they get roped into attending a weekend together. During that weekend a kiss happens and feelings Berk didn’t realize he had started creeping up. Once back from their weekend he decides it’s time to act on those feelings and boy do sparks fly!
