The Cowboy and His Secret was a sweet romance. The fast pace of the story had me tearing through the pages and the suspense created so much tension, I needed to know what would happen. Despite the mystery and suspense, the overall story had a light feel to it. It was a nice break to read in between some heavier books. I found the writing to be a bit simple and straightforward but the story line really pulled me in and kept me engaged. I enjoyed the family dynamics and connections between the characters. The romance between Mac and Sarah was sweet and had me rooting for the two of them. I didn’t realize this book was part of a series, I’ll definitely be checking out more of this crew.
