Jess's Review ~ Chandelier by Annie Dyer

Chandelier My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mysterious, sexy and intriguing.

This is my first book by this author and I am really looking forward to the rest of the trilogy. You are left feeling unsettled at the end of this book, something big just went down and you know there are secrets lingering. We have three main characters that it feels like at least two of them are keeping big secrets.

Blair is a princess but doesn't really want to part of the political world in which her father rules and with a brother being in charge has never really been a reality. She is a bit naughty and just yearns to be free to be with who she wants. She is easily manipulated and used as a pawn on more than one occasion. But when her new protector comes home she feels like maybe it is a sign. Ben in the protector. He is hot and cold and a bundle of mixed signals. He has spent the last number of years with the army and has come home to do the job he was made for. I feel like there is more of his story that we are missing and this whole thing with Isaac I really need more details about. And Isaac...the kingmaker. He presents like the man who knows everything, and I actually think he might. He has ears everywhere being an advisor royalty. He is has a touch of the devil in him but is always the one who is there to pick up the pieces.

There is definitely a lot of story left to tell and I am really looking forward to hearing everyone's truths. The way in which the story was woven was really interesting and the players all unique. I am ready for more now, please.
